85% of S&OP processes don't deliver

The majority of executives at an Integrated Business Planning workshop, run jointly by Oliver Wight and Oracle, felt their business management process had significant room for improvement.

Citing poor or average visibility of global demand, supply chain and supplier capacity, 85 percent of delegates said their S&OP process was neither used by the executive to run the business, nor was it helping drive growth in sales margin. 75 percent said it did not allow them to close gaps against their plan.
