IBP webinar to be hosted by Mars Iberia after achieving Class A with Oliver Wight

Oliver Wight EAME is delighted to announce that, following its journey to Class A, Mars Iberia (formerly Wrigley Spain) will be hosting a webinar entitled The Mars Iberia Journey to Integrated Business Planning at 1.00 pm BST on Monday 18 June 2018.

Available to anyone with free registration, the talk will be led by Flavio Pietrocola, Managing Associate at Oliver Wight, who will be joined by Albert Ros, Supply Chain Director and S&OP Lead at Mars Iberia.

Pietrocola says, “Integrated Business Planning (IBP) requires rigor and dedication, and with this webinar we hope to illustrate that with company-wide commitment to the process, organisations can expect to transform their business performance and experience significant tangible benefits in terms of profitability and growth.”

Encompassing the Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain departments, the confectionary firm, which owns leading brands such as Orbit, Twix and Maltesers, initiated a two-year IBP journey to align the company’s plans as part of a Europe-wide project. The webinar will cover the key stages of Mars’ business transformation journey, including why the company chose to achieve a best-in-class IBP programme, their key successes, the challenges along the way and ultimately, the long-term positive results Mars Iberia has experienced following the integration of the programme.

Ros says, “Mars Iberia enlisted the help of Oliver Wight at just the right time; the company’s successes are a perfect demonstration of the rapid and sizeable benefits than can be gained through IBP.”
