When did you join Oliver Wight?

Tell us about yourself! What does your day-to-day role at Oliver Wight involve?
Aside from the usual finance duties such as month-end and management accounts, a lot of work going into (hopefully!) improving controls and processes.
What attracted you to the role?
The opportunity to work in an LLP with a multitude of capable and experienced people is very exciting, I am looking to learn as much as I can!
Prior to joining the Oliver Wight team what did you do?
I was Finance Manager for smartDCS and XSpace UK – I set up the finance function from scratch for the businesses.
What is your idea of a utopian workplace?
Where everyone enjoys coming to work, is comfortable asking questions and sharing ideas. A workplace that has supportive colleagues, good communication and where we are all working towards the same goal.
What are your interests outside of work?
I love football – I’m a Cheltenham Town and Everton fan. I enjoy watching wrestling (whether at the shows or on TV) and collect wrestling memorabilia like signed photos and trading cards for example.
You’re an animal for a day – what are you and why?
I would be some sort of bird so I could experience flight – perhaps an Eagle.
