Terms & Conditions of Attendance

1. Your Registration
By registering for the Oliver Wight Conference 2026 on 15 September 2026 at Van der Valk Schiphol Hotel, Amsterdam, you agree to these terms.

2. Payment
Full payment is due at booking, unless we agree otherwise in writing. All fees exclude VAT unless stated. Registration can be refused or cancelled if payment is not received.

3. Cancellations & Substitutions

• Cancel in writing on or before 18 August 2026 to receive a refund minus a £50 admin fee. No refunds within 28 days of the event.
• You may send a substitute at no extra cost if you tell us in writing at least 14]ays before the event.
• No refund for non-attendance.
• Refunds processed within 30 days of cancellation confirmation.

4. Event Changes & Cancellation

• We may change the programme, speakers, layout or timings if needed.
• If the event is cancelled by us, you get a full refund of registration fees. This is your only remedy.
• We are not liable for costs (e.g. travel, accommodation) if the event is postponed or cancelled due to events outside our control (“force majeure”).

5. Your Conduct

• Behave professionally and respectfully at all times.
• We may refuse entry or remove anyone breaching these terms or behaving inappropriately, with no refund.

6. Travel & Venue Rules

• You arrange and pay for your own travel and accommodation.
• Follow all venue rules and instructions from its staff, our staff, and local authorities.

7. Conference Materials & Recordings

• All event content (ie. presentations, slides, materials, recordings) is our intellectual property.
• Do not record, share, or distribute event content without our written permission.
• Materials are for your personal use only.
• Speaker views are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of Oliver Wight.

8. Photography and Filming

• We may photograph or film the event for marketing and training.
• If you do not wish to be included, tell us in writing before the event or speak to staff onsite.

9. Your Risk and Our Liability

• You attend at your own risk.
• We are not liable for any loss, injury, damage, cost, or theft, or for actions of third parties (eg. other delegates, speakers, vendors or the venue).
• Our total liability to you is limited to the registration fee paid by you.
• Nothing excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or wilful misconduct.

10. Data Protection

• Personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy and the law.
• Your details may be shared with venue, service providers, or partners if needed for organising the event.

11. Law & Jurisdiction

• These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Only the courts of England and Wales can resolve disputes.
