How long have you worked for Oliver Wight?

I joined the Oliver Wight team in 2016 so just over six years now.

Tell us about yourself – what does your day-to-day role at Oliver Wight involve?

I’m Oliver Wight’s Content & Digital Marketing Executive, so I create and curate content and manage our digital presence across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

Every day is different depending on what project I’m working on, but you can usually find me writing content for our marketing campaigns, creating posts for our social media platforms, developing white papers, case studies, and blogs, and keeping our email subscribers up to date on the latest Oliver Wight news and insights.

What did you do before joining the EAME team?

Before joining Oliver Wight, I was studying for my degree in Creative Media Production. Whilst at University I also worked part-time for a small independent gift shop that stocked everything from handbags and vases to giant cuddly dinosaurs, so you can imagine creating the window displays was great fun.

What three words best describe you?

Ambitious. Compassionate. Resilient.

What is your idea of a utopian workplace?

A positive environment that values diversity and encourages people to share ideas and be creative. Somewhere team members work together to drive success for the business and each other. Laughter is also essential – life is short, and we spend a large chunk of it at work, so a fun and bright workplace makes all the difference.

And what’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Nothing is truly ever ‘perfect’, so put your ideas out into the world sooner rather than later. It’s all part of the creative process.

What are your interests outside of work?

I’m a big music and movies fan and also quite arty. I’m currently learning how to shoot film so I'm really looking forward to seeing the results once the photos are developed.

You’re an animal for a day – what are you and why?

If just for one day, I’d love to experience the world from a totally different perspective as an eagle or some sort of sea creature – let’s go with a dolphin.

Finally, what is your favorite part of working at Oliver Wight?

Creating content that resonates with people and inspires them to make a change – whether big or small – to improve their business and generate long-lasting results.
