When did you join Oliver Wight?
I joined Oliver Wight on 11th April 2022, so I am new to the business.

Tell us about yourself! What does your day-to-day role at Oliver Wight involve?
I am the Apprentice Business Administrator. My day-to-day role involves supporting the office team and partners with various tasks.

What attracted you to the role?
I love helping and supporting people, this is the main reason I was attracted to this role. I like the variety this role provides and the aspect of teamwork as I like collaboration, working together and sharing ideas.

Prior to joining the Oliver Wight team what did you do?
Before joining Oliver Wight, I worked in primary education.

What three words best describe you?
Organised, calm, supportive.

What is your idea of a utopian workplace?
A positive, calm and friendly environment where everyone feels valued and safe. Somewhere in which team members can share ideas, work together and enjoy providing the best opportunities for company success. Making mistakes is part of life – we are all human! Therefore, a supportive and calm environment is key.

What emoji best represents you?
I would say the smiley face emoji.

What are your interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I coach at a local acrobatic gymnastics club- I trained and competed as a gymnast    for 11 years and then took on a coaching role to help train and support gymnasts. Myself and my family are Gloucester rugby fans. I also enjoy walking my rescue dog, going to music concerts and spending time with my friends.

You’re an animal for a day – what are you and why?
I would have to say my dog! He spends most of his days sleeping, playing and walking with his family and I would like to see the world through his eyes.

Share with us the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given.
Mistakes have the power to turn you into something better than you were before.
