When did you join Oliver Wight?
I started as a Partner formally on 01 Sep ’22.

What attracted you to the role?
Helping clients to improve their business results by education, training on the job, and further developing people’s skills.

Prior to joining the Oliver Wight team what did you do?
During my working career, I have been within the Supply Chain and S&OP Demand - a significant part on project bases. For the last 12 years, I was in a functional role where we transferred from S&OP to IBP while working with Oliver Wight. During this transition, I supported/led Demand in EMEA and supported education in APAC as well.

How would you describe yourself?
Trustworthy and empathic. I enjoy translating concepts into actions.

What is your idea of a utopian workplace?
1)     A healthy environment for body and mind
2)     A mix of meetings with ‘new’ people and team members, both remotely and face-to-face.

What emoji best represents you?
A happy person - my glass is half-full and I’m optimistic.

What are your interests outside of work?
Traveling abroad with my wife and our son to explore other cultures and nature while also enjoying good food and some sun. I’m interested in history and also enjoy going for a mountain bike ride (not on a professional level).

You’re an animal for a day – what are you and why?
Dolphin is what comes to mind because I see them as being smart with a good memory and friendly. They also have the opportunity to enjoy the underwater world, which is an element I would like to discover…

Share with us the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given.
At the beginning of my career, a Plant Director once said: “Well done on the work, the execution and details, but next time don’t only tell your manager. Share it more widely.”
